Is President Trump helping or hurting Christianity by establishing a “White House Faith Office”? While most Christian podcasts (so far) are only addressing the pick of a “so called Pastor” Paula White to lead this office we’re going to go a bit deeper. Some complain because she calls herself a pastor which is a clear violation of multiple scriptures. Others are complaining that she preaches a false gospel, which also appears to be true. We’re going to complain that the primary role of this “White House Faith Office” is to get grant money from the federal government out to the states.
Get your bibles out and open to Romans 13, 1 Peter 2, James 1 and more. Oh and if you have your pocket constitution handy we’re going to dig into that as well.

Executive Order 13198 was issued by President George W. Bush on January 29, 2001. It established Centers for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives in five federal departments. The order also created the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

Executive Order 13279, signed on December 12, 2002, aimed to ensure equal protection under the law for faith-based and community organizations, allowing them to participate more readily in federal programs, while later amended by Executive Order 13559 on November 17, 2010, which established guiding principles and criteria for government partnerships with such organizations, emphasizing the separation of religious activities from government-funded programs; essentially, both orders aimed to facilitate collaboration between the government and faith-based organizations while upholding the principle of religious neutrality.
